Activate Theatre

Activate Theatre, based in County Durham, offers inspiring performing arts classes for children and young people across Durham. Catering to ages 4-18, the club provides structured age-based groups, including Mini Stars, Rising Stars, Activate Players, and Shooting Stars, ensuring tailored development for every participant. These engaging sessions encompass acting, singing, and dance, promoting a comprehensive performing arts experience.

Further enriching the curriculum are dynamic Dance Fusion classes and dedicated LAMDA 121 lessons and small group sessions, allowing for focused skill enhancement. Classes are led by a team of highly qualified tutors, comprising experienced industry professionals, performing arts graduates, qualified dance teachers, professional performers with over a decade of experience, and PGCE-certified educators, ensuring expert instruction and guidance. A primary aim of Activate Theatre is to build confidence and foster creative expression in every child. Participants are encouraged to explore their individual potential and try performance activities in a safe and nurturing environment.

Through improvisation and developing musical talent, children enhance their artistic skills and promote overall skill development, preparing them to thrive in various social situations.
